A proper hike, a challenging climb and great views! Ready to get out of Benidorm and explore the mountains? Join us for a hike to Tossal del Senyal, in the Puig Campana mountain area! This is a moderately difficult hike (7/10 difficulty) with a challenging final ascent, so come prepared for a proper workout. The views and the feeling of reaching the top will be worth it! 📍 Meeting point 9:00 AM at Plaza de Toros, Benidorm Meet directly at the main entrance of the bullring, next to the whale painted on the wall. Please arrive on time so we can get started together. 🥾 The hike Distance: Approximately 8 km Duration: Around 3 hours Total elevation gain: ~380 m Difficulty: 7/10 Terrain: Mountain trails with a challenging final ascent This hike is best suited to people with reasonable fitness and some experience walking on uneven terrain. It is not recommended for complete beginners or anyone uncomfortable with steep climbs (!!!) 🚌 Getting back to Benidorm We will return together by bus from the stop: Ctra. CV-758, s/n (Terra Jardín) The bus departs at 13:28 and travels in the direction of Gran Hotel Bali. You can get off at any stop along the return journey that suits you. Please bring money for the bus fare (at least 2 €, could be more!) or your public transport pass. 🎒 What to bring Good hiking shoes with reliable grip Warm clothing, as it can be cooler in the mountains Enough water Snacks or something to give you an energy boost Hiking poles, if you use them Money or a bus pass for the return journey Please check the weather forecast before setting off and dress appropriately. 🌧️ Rainy-day alternative If the weather is rainy, we will switch to a hike to La Cruz de Benidorm, the famous cross overlooking the city. The alternative meeting point will be outside McDonald's in Rincón de Loix at 9:00 AM. We will confirm which route we are taking based on the weather conditions. If conditions are unsafe, the hike may be cancelled. 🍺 Optional post-hike reward Back in Benidorm, anyone who feels like it can join us for a coffee or a well-deserved beer.
